Our prayers and thoughts are with you, Jeff and the rest of Claudine's family. She was a great influence on many student's lives as well as the rest of us who knew her. Darrell & I both worked with Claudine at the University and her love of education and the university was always reflected in her attitude and her teaching. May God be ever near you and give you strength and comfort as you need it.

Dearest Jeff,
I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to know you and call you a mentor/friend. You spoke so highly of your wife and daughter while I was under your wing at FCC. Thank you for sharing the light they were in your life. I am praying for you to have peace at this difficult time..your "girls" were an inspiration to many as I read these wonderful words about them. May the words of many help ease your pain and comfort your soul...God Bless

Dr. Cutchin was the best professor I ever had. She was such a caring person who made such a positive impression on so many people's lives. She will never be forgotten and I am truly grateful that I had the privilege of being taught by her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in the loss of this special woman and her daughter.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Dr Cutchin & her daughter. We were both honored to be some of her students at OCU. She was a fabulous teacher who taught us so much about history! I remember so much of what she taught & talk about her frequently as one of the best teachers I have ever had. She will be greatly missed! Our prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

Although I have never met you, Jeff, my heart is so sad for you. Claudine was one of the folks at our table at a recent OCU function. I was excited to be able to spend some brief moments with her. I know the OCU Family will really miss her enthusiasm and commitment. Her comments in Board Meetings, et. al. were always positive and encouraging for us in the meetings.

May the love of God and innumerable friends surround and comfort you in the loss of your two precious ladies. Eddi Marie Julian, Modesto, CA

Dr. Cutchin was a very amazing person and teacher. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to know her. I was greatly sadden to hear about her passing. During my 4 1/2 years at OCU, I took every class that I was able to take that she taught. She really inspired me and made learning about history and current events really fun. I include many things that I learned from her in my classroom every day. I really enjoyed the discussions we had before, during and after classes. I loved her passion for life, teaching, and chocolate. She will greatly be missed by all that knew her, as will her daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all that knew her.

Jeff - I am so sorry to hear about your wife and daughter. I met her a view times and she seemed sweet. In reading about her, she obviously was very happy and loved her life and what she was doing. I hope your faith gives strength and comfort to get through this difficult time.

Dr. Cutchin was the smartest professor I ever had the privilege of meeting at OCU. Her teaching style was one that connected to the students and she was someone that you could always talk to. She never liked to be called Dr. Cutchin; she always wanted us to call her Claudine. I still will never forget when she walked into class wearing her Rolling Stones leather jacket and shorts. Her classes were challenging but fun as well. Dr. Cutchin "Claudine", you inspired me to be a better person and always try hard on everything I do. You will be missed. Rest In Peace. 😞

Jeff
I have known Claudine for 17 yrs at OCU. I became the Registrar in 2001 and worked with her throughout the years. She was a wonderful woman, friend and coworker. She will be deeply missed by so many people. I met Adelaide a few times as she grew up at the university. I know that words can't take the pain that you are going through. Please know that there are many many people who are praying for you. God will give you His comfort and strength now and always.
