Dear Family...know that Ed was as cool as his cool grey silver beard and more. He always was smiling and welcoming to me....and i remember his kind and cheerful countenance. I look forward to seeing him again and expect he is looking and praying over us all now from Heaven above. Our prayers and thoughts are with you sons and family. Sincerely. Tom Rafferty

My classmate and friend Ed Johnson was a good man who loved people and who, despite his struggles and suffering, always had kind and welcoming words for everyone. We will all remember Ed with fondness.

We are so very sorry about Uncle Ed's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this difficult time. We know Ed is happy now, doing the things he loved. We also know that he is looking down on all of you, smiling. You are a wonderful family and I know he appreciated all of you. Again, we are very sorry and wished we could be there to celebrate his reunion with God.
