Rose Mary (Wellerman) Seibert

Today, Friday, March 3, 2017, while at Country Health Care in Gifford, Illinois, I, Rose Mary Wellerman Seibert, passed through the gates where my heavenly Father was there to greet me.

I was welcomed into this world 90 years ago on March 5, 1926, by my parents John and Helen (Kraft) Wellerman. I graduated from Owensville High School with amazing friends in 1945. I married my love Harry R. Seibert on December 23, 1947. Harry passed away on April 4, 2007 after 59 years of marriage.

I was a devoted homemaker. I dearly loved my family and my cats. I was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.

I had five amazing siblings: John William-deceased 1933, Elizabeth Lee of California, James-deceased 2015, Margaret Seibert of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Norman Wellerman of Mt. Carmel, Illinois. We were all born in Indiana. My children are Barbra Franzen and her husband Ron of Urbana, Illinois, and Richard Seibert and his wife Missy of Cumming, Georgia; grandsons Phil (Summer) Seibert of Austin, Texas and Greg (Dr. Kimberly) Seibert of Clarksville, Tennessee; great-grandchildren Henry Michael, Amelia Rose, Isabel, Everly and Genevieve.

My family and I want to thank Country Health in Gifford for the awesome care I’ve been given at this wonderful facility.

My Memorial Funeral Mass is Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
