Peggy Lucille (Hinderliter) Terry

Peggy Lucille Terry, 77, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at her residence.

          She was born Thursday, September 28, 1939, in Wabash County, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Hildred (Hinderliter) Moody.

          Peggy was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.  On Saturday, January 6, 1962, she married Charles O. Terry in Simms, Illinois.  She enjoyed gardening and working outside. 

          Left to cherish her memory is her siblings Robert Moody of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and, David and his wife Sherry Moody of Oakland City, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

          Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and sister-in-law, Vickie.

          Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2016, from 11:00 to 12:00 in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home, 527 N Mulberry Street, Mt. Carmel, Illinois, with the funeral services immediately following at 12:00 noon also at Short Funeral Home.  Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
