Vicki Renee (Partee) Wood

Vicki Renee Wood, 67, of Allendale, Illinois, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born June 20, 1955, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the daughter of Stephen F. and Patricia R. (Lydick) Partee.  She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in the class of 1973.  On October 20, 1979, Vicki married Edward William Wood at the First Christian Church in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

Vicki was a great homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and was exceptionally good at it. Vicki had a creative nature which she reflected in her paintings and drawings.  She loved her pets and all animals.

Left to cherish Vicki’s memory are her husband Ed, of 43 years of marriage; mother, Patty Partee; siblings, Christine Rosignol and Cathy (Darrick) Ruth, both of Mt. Carmel; and several nieces and nephews.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Partee.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive, Mt. Carmel, Illinois.  There will be no public visitation.

Memorials may be made to Wabash County Shelter Buddies, 11336 N 1500 Blvd, Mt. Carmel, Illinois 62863. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
