Tim Lee Seibert 63, of St. Simons Island, GA formerly of Mt. Carmel, IL, peacefully passed away on June 19, 2025, surrounded by his family at his side.
Tim was born February 4, 1962, in Mt. Carmel, IL, the son of Ted and Margaret (Wellerman) Seibert.
Tim was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and was in the US Navy, serving in Desert Storm. He worked at Belk’s and was a department manager. Tim’s hobby and passion was flowers, which he grew a large variety of kinds and vibrant colors year around.
Those left to cherish his memory include his partner and caregiver Troy Gentry of St, Simons Island, GA, 2 daughters Lindsey and Alicia Seibert of Jacksonville, FL, mother Margaret Seibert (Dave) Odom of Mt. Carmel, IL, 2 brothers Michael J. (Becky) Seibert, Jason B. Seibert both of Mt. Carmel, IL, grandson Drayke Washington, and 2 special aunts Barbara (Ron) Franzen, and Joeann Dardeen, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Ted Seibert and brother Chris Seibert.
Funeral services for Timothy will be held Monday July 14, 2025, at 10am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 125 W 5th St., Mt. Carmel, IL. Burial will follow in St, Mary Cemetery, with full Military Rites
Memorials may be made in Tim’s honor to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or St. Mary Church Steeple Fund.
