Robert Eugene Trusty

Robert Eugene Trusty, 70, of Albion, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Robert was born in Mount Carmel, Illinois November 15, 1951 to Bob and Betty (Sexton) Trusty. He was a high school graduate. He was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a Laborer in the Oilfields. Robert was married to Nancy Hoover September 9, 1986 in Pontiac, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed traveling to West Virginia.

Left to cherish Robert’s memory is his son Eric VanMatre of Albion, Illinois. His two granddaughters Ashton Trusty and Riley Trusty. His siblings Kelly Trusty of Albion, Illinois, Verle Trusty of Albion, Illinois, and Jewell Manning of Atlanta, Georgia.

Preceded in death by his parents Bob and Betty (Sexton) Trusty, wife Nancy Trusty, son Travis Trusty, and brother Kevin Trusty.

Per his wishes cremation will be done and there will be no formal services.
