Robert T. Tester, 60, of Vincennes, Indiana, peacefully passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at BridgePointe Health Campus in Vincennes, Indiana.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. EST at Conduit Assembly of God Church, 1150 McKinley Avenue, Vincennes, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association.
Robert was born on January 15, 1965, in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Ronald Slater and Judith Tester. He grew up in Bruceville, Indiana, and was raised by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Marie Tester. He graduated from high school and attended college. On October 8, 2008, Robert married Charity Stangle in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
He was a member of Conduit Assembly of God in Vincennes, Indiana. Robert worked as an EMT for several years. He loved bonding with Brady (son) and Caspian (grandson) over music. Robert enjoyed playing the drums (he played in several praise bands), working as a DJ for radio stations, working in health care, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
Robert leaves behind his wife Charity of 16 years of marriage; a son, Brady (Ashley) Tester of Galvaston, Indiana; a grandson, Caspian Tester; and good friends Will and Lisa Nixon of Olney, Illinois. He will be missed by his EMS family.
His parents preceded him in death.
