Raymond Edward Overline

Raymond Edward Overline, Jr. 84, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, Newburgh, IN.

He was born July 24, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Raymond E. and Irene (Oates) Overline, Sr.  He married Clara Alena Perry; she preceded him in death.

Ray served his country honorably, retiring from the U. S. Air Force, serving in the states and overseas. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War posts in Mt. Carmel and Haubstadt.

Left to cherish Ray’s memory include his children Kevin C. Overline of Boise, Idaho and Stephanie K. and husband Ed Childs of Evansville, IN; two granddaughters, Ashley Overline and Lindsey Overline; two great grandchildren; and brother Harry Overline of Mill Valley, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Alena.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive, Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
