Phyllis Leona (Wilkinson) Spencer

Phyllis Leona Spencer, 85, of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Mt. Carmel, IL passed away May 21, 2024.  She was born to Ervin and Goldie Wilkinson on September 19, 1938, in Mt. Carmel, IL.

Phyllis graduated from Mt. Carmel High School and married Thomas “Bud” Spencer shortly after.  They enjoyed 66 years of marriage before his death on May 16, 2024.  During retirement they enjoyed traveling in their motorhome before moving to Pennbrooke Fairways of Leesburg, FL.  She enjoyed reading, golfing, and community social groups. 

She is survived by her daughters Kim (Tony) Lowe of Evansville, IN, Lisa Jordan of Palm Coast, FL, and son Scott of Huntington Beach, CA; granddaughters Kailey and Maggie Lowe of Evansville, IN and Summer Jordan of Palm Coast, FL.  Also surviving is her brother Don Wilkinson of Mt. Carmel, IL and several nieces and nephews. 

She will be missed by all.

Private graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on June 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
