Paula Hensley Obituary

Paula J. Hensley, 77, of Princeton, Indiana passed away on March 13, 2026, at her home.

She was born on October 27, 1948, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She was the daughter of Arthur Clinton and Phyllis Joan (Armstrong) Hensley.

Paula graduated from Oakland City University in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in childhood education. She worked as a preschool teacher at a daycare and an inspector for Federal Assembly, Inc. and an inspector for Product Action.

She was a member of Columbia General Baptist Church in Princeton, Indiana. It is there that she loved serving as a Sunday School teacher, youth director and the missionary secretary.

Paula loved to crochet and knit in her spare time.  

She is survived by her brother, Robert “Steve” (Marcia) Hensley, sister, Pamela Sue (Dennis) Doner, sister, Kathryn Annette (Joe) Dauz.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, David Arthur Hensley and Dana Keith Hensley, sister, Linda Kay (Hensley) Reed, nephew, Michael Ryan Hensley, niece, Faith Isabelle Savory.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Short-Cunningham Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Short-Cunningham Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the service at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions for Paula Hensley can be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Columbia General Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at Short-Cunningham Funeral Home.
