Nancy (Moore) Hoskins, 86, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away June 6, 2023, at Wabash General Hospital.
Services will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Short-Cunningham Funeral Home, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, with Vaughn Courter officiating. A burial will be held following the service at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Nancy was born to the late Ralph and Rlou (Jones) Moore on April 6, 1937, in Rossville, Illinois. She was married to Donald R. Hoskins on January 25, 1958, in Georgetown, Illinois. To this union one child was born: Donna (Randy) Beyke. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Andrea (Sarah Love) Beyke of Champaign, Illinois, and Christy (Luke) Kistner of Bethalto, Illinois, and great-grandchildren: Hope Kistner, Levi Kistner, and Hazel Beyke-Love. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Shirley Fletcher.
In her earlier years she was a Telephone Operator and worked in retail. Nancy retired from the Circuit Clerks office in Wabash County, Illinois. Her true passion was being a homemaker. Nancy always made sure everyone else was happy. She attended Asbury Chapel Church, her faith in God was so strong. Nancy enjoyed playing golf with her husband and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed her grandkids and great-grandkids and was very involved in their lives.
The family would like to give their appreciation to the staff at Holly Brook and Wabash General Hospital for all the care shown to Nancy.
Memorials can be made to Asbury Chapel. Envelopes will be available at the service.
