Mary Jo Bolden

Mary Jo Bolden, 90, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Oakview Nursing & Rehab.  

No formal visitation will be held. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Rosehill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.

Mary Jo was born to the late Ogle and Elva (Langley) Hunt on January 28, 1935, in St. Francisville, Illinois. She married Edward Bolden on August 27, 1954, in Lawrenceville, Illinois and 2 beautiful children were born to this union: Candice (Bob) Brady and Eddie J. (Lori) Bolden.  Also surviving Mary Jo are 4 grandchildren, Clint Bolden, Brent Bolden, Branden Jaquemai, and Tracy Brainard; and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Mary Jo worked at Potter & Brumfield for 40+ years as an assembler.
