Celebration of Life

Lester Allen Carmickle, Jr.

A graveside celebration of life service for our dad, Lester Carmickle, Jr., will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Lick Prairie Cemetery, 17406 E. 400 Road.  All who wish to attend are welcome. 

Lester Allen Carmickle, Jr., 58, from Evansville, Indiana, passed away September 25, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville surrounded by the love of his family.

There will be no service.  Burial will be at a later date at Lick Prairie Cemetery.

Lester was born May 8, 1965, the son of Lester Allen Carmickle, Sr. and Beverly (Moore) Dicus. Lester worked as a CNA.

Surviving are his children, Brittany (Michael) Lewis and Corey (Sydney) Carmickle, both of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; grandchildren, Karrah, Leah, Hannah, Jennah, Emmah and Brennah Lewis and Cole, Addison and Remington Carmickle; siblings, Tawana Dardeen, Stephanie Sherman and Jon Carmickle; aunts, Jeanie Mendenhall and Lynn Hunt; several nieces and nephews; and long time friend, Greg Hoskinson.

Preceding Lester in death were his father and maternal and paternal grandparents.
