Karen Jean (Faith) Mundy
Obituary
Karen Jean Mundy, 63, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Oakview Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation with Gary by her side.
She was born October 31, 1958, the daughter of Billy and Mary Alyce Rodgers Faith in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Karen graduated from Allendale High School in the Class of 1976. She received an associate degree from Wabash Valley College.
Karen loved her job, of 19 years until her retirement in 2012, at Mt. Carmel Stabilization. She enjoyed traveling, golf and being outside.
Left to cherish Karen’s memory is her significant other, Gary Wise; brothers, Michael Faith of South Dakota, and Mark (Jennifer) Faith of Vermont; Aunt Jean and Uncle Harold Borg of Aurora, Illinois; and two nieces.
Preceding Karen in death were her parents and husband, William G. Mundy.
There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be held, Friday, May 13, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
