Johnny Dominic Martino

Johnny Dominic Martino, 81, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

John was born June 20, 1940 in Italy, the son of Georgio and Maria Martino. He served his adopted country in the U.S. Navy. He married Mary Charlotte Jarvis on November 11, 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona. They were married forty-eight years. She preceded him in death in August 2020.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. John worked at Meissner’s for several years.

Left to cherish Johnny’s memory are his church family and friends; and Jennie Walker a former neighbor. He had a kind and gentle spirit with a concern for those around him.

John was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary and best friend, Bobby Hulfachor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel with Burial following in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
