Jimmy Warmoth Obituary

Jimmy G. Warmoth, 90, formerly of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020, at Hopedale Cottage in Ozark, Missouri, surrounded by the love of his family.

 

He was born June 25, 1930, the son of Wallace “Cy” and Lucille (Crouch) Warmoth in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. March 3, 1953, Jim married Alice McWilliams at the First Christian Church in Mt. Carmel.

 

Jim was a member of First Christian Church. He was a former minor league baseball pitcher for the Braves organization, worked in the meat department at A&P where he met Alice and a supervisor of quality control for Snap-On Tools Corporation until his retirement.

 

Left to cherish Jim’s memory is his daughter, Dianna Stennett, of Rogersville, Missouri, along with his two grandsons, Logan and Cole Stennett.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Vickie Lee Warmoth; sisters, Carolyn Smith and Helen Moyer, and brother, Wallace “Wally” Warmoth .

 

Private services will be held.
