George Haggard Obituary

George Haggard, 60, of Carmi, Illinois passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Carmi Manor.

He was born January 9, 1958 in Gibson County, the son of George Jackson Haggard and Goldie Lee (Blair) Haggard.

George proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.

Left to cherish his memories are three brothers, Paul Haggard of Mt. Carmel, IL., Tommy Haggard of Flora, IL., Jackie Woods of Washington State, and one sister, Naomi Cox of Mt. Carmel, IL.

He worked at Champion Laboratories doing factory work for many years.

Preceding George in death were his parents; five sisters; two infant sisters, Arlene Gillihan, Carolyn Christmas and Nellie Haggard.

Private graveside services will be held at Maumee Cemetery in Johnson, Indiana.
