Gary Brent Kuhn

Gary Brent Kuhn, 72, formerly of Mt. Carmel, IL, passed away on June 25, 2022, in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on November 6, 1949, in Marietta, OH, to the late Wilmer Clarence Kuhn and Edna Ruth Kuhn. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Janine Arrowood, and brother, Scott Kuhn. 

Gary is survived by his wife, Debbie Kuhn; children, Kimberly Gognat Howard, Brent (Jennifer) Kuhn and Stefani Kuhn; grandchildren, Cohen Howard, Will Howard, Reagan Thomason, and Levi Kuhn; brother, Brian (Cindy) Kuhn; sister, Lyn (Robert) Mendenhall, and many friends. 

Gary was an electrician by trade, working with IBEW building power plants. After retiring, he was able to do what he enjoyed most, working with cars. He loved the automobile industry -- buying, selling, and working on cars. He recently was with the Orange Park Auto Mall. 

Gary was a good husband, great father, and exceptional Papa. He loved fiercely, was a great protector and will be missed immensely. 

A graveside service will be Saturday August 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Adam’s Corner Church Cemetery, Allendale, IL.  A celebration of life luncheon will follow at the Mt. Carmel Eagles Club at 12:00 pm.
