Evan Thomas Doan

Evan Thomas Doan of Evansville, Indiana formerly of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away, Sunday, November 27, 2022, in Orlando, Florida.

Evan was born July 4, 1997, in Evansville, Indiana the son of Thomas Wayne Doan and Gwendolyn R. (Andy) Kocher

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Holden Doan of Washington, Indiana;  father, Thomas Wayne Doan of Princeton, Indiana: mother, Gwendolyn R. (Andy) Kocher of Evansville, Indiana; siblings, Ashlie Sharp of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Chase McKinney of Francisco, Indiana, Teresa Johnson of Evansville, Indiana, William Johnson of Evansville, Indiana; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

Evan was a free spirit. He enjoyed being around people and making people laugh; he was a Gamer.

Evan Thomas was preceded in death by aunt Pat Schroeder and grandmother, Fayetta Doan and brother, Joshua Kocher; grandmother, Teresa Yarbor, aunt Danielle Poncho and uncle Tim Collins.

The Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Short-Cunningham Funeral Home, 527 N Mulberry Street, Mt. Carmel, Illinois. The Funeral Service for Evan will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home.
