Deanna M. Hipsher, 83, of St. Francisville, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on her birthday, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville IN.
Deanna was born December 31, 1937 in Wabash County Illinois, the daughter of William Penn and Clarice (Johnson) Beesley. She married Roy T. Hipsher on June 10, 1956 at the Wabash Presbyterian Church in Orio IL. They enjoyed 64 years serving the Lord and raising two sons to do the same.
Deanna is survived by her husband Roy; son Philip G. and wife Tina of Mt. Carmel; four grandchildren, Alix (Mark) Crummley, Ian Hipsher, Justin (Amanda) Hipsher, Rachel (Chuc) Tran; six great grandchildren, Amelia, Evelyn, Vivian Crummley and Noah, Abigail and Avianna Hipsher; brother, Gail (Joann) Beesley of Mt. Carmel.
She was devoted to her church, very involved in all activities. Anyone that knew her knew she lived her faith, always willing to share with others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Stuart Hipsher.
There will be a Private Family Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Wabash Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Orio Cemetery.
COVID-19 precautions will be in place including use of hand sanitizer, wearing of face covering and social distancing.
