Charles "Chuck" E. Morgan

Charles Everett “Chuck” Morgan, 62, of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Cathedral Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana, surrounded by the love of his family.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Friends and family may call for a visitation on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Short-Cunningham Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

Chuck was born November 26, 1961, the son of Jim and Laura (Lambert) Morgan in New Jersey. He worked at WAVE in Mt. Carmel.

Chuck loved riding his scooter around town. He enjoyed fishing, race cars (the louder and faster the better), attending the car races at Haubstadt and going to WVC basketball games.

Chuck is survived by his brother Jay Morgan of Jasper, Indiana; aunts Judy Lambert, Lynn Hinderliter, and Karen Boyd all of Mt. Carmel; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Bunny Colclasure.
