Carolyn Sue (King) Juenger

Carolyn S. Juenger, 79, of Mt. Carmel, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 13, 2025, at Oakview Heights Continuous Care and Rehab.

She was born on Tuesday March 26, 1946, in Anna, Illinois to Fred and Geneva (King) Somers. She married Charles Juenger, and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Carolyn was a waitress at many restaurants in the area. She was a loving mother and grandmother. In her spare time, she loved to read and watch game shows.

She is survived by her son Edward Juenger and his companion Stephanie of Mt. Carmel. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Emma and Abigail

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Per her wishes she will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
