Anthony Ray Lawrence

Anthony Ray Lawrence, 71, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at Wabash General Hospital.

There will be a graveside service Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Coffee Cemetery in Keensburg, Illinois.

Anthony Ray Lawrence was born June 3, 1953, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the son of Robert Earl and Mary Katherine (Weller) Lawrence. He is survived by siblings Nancy M. Lawrence, Virginia K. Lawrence, Debra S. Lawrence, and Leann Lawrence all of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and David E. Lawrence of Olney, Illinois.  Anthony is preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of Parkview Christian Church. Anthony worked at WAVE on the cleaning crew of the coal mine and Skeeter Mountain rest area. He enjoyed being with family and friends.
