Amelia E (Kling) Schuster

Amelia E. Schuster, 99, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2020, at Linda White Hospice in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born December 19, 1920, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the daughter of Joe and Katherine (Otto) Kling.  On October 10, 1972, she married Morris W. Schuster in Warrenton, Indiana. 

Amelia worked for Snap-On Tools for twenty years and then Hurst Manufacturing in Princeton, Indiana, until she retired.  She loved spending time with her family and sitting on her porch taking in the sunshine and visiting with people passing by.  Amelia enjoyed being around people and never knew a stranger.

Left to cherish Amelia’s memory is her son, Richard J. Williams of Princeton, Indiana; granddaughter, Roberta (Bill) Wright; great grandchildren Michael (Ashley) Wright and Jennifer Wright; great great grandchildren Jayden Michael Wright and Harper Jade Wright; and many nieces and nephews.

Amelia was preceded in death by her husband Morris W. Schuster; parents; and siblings Anna Mae Kohlbecker, Alice Marcella Kuehling, Mary Kathryn Russell, William Martin Kling and Josephine Kling.

A private funeral service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2020, in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, Indiana.
