Donna Paris Obituary

Donna Jean Paris, 74, of Newburgh, Indiana, (formerly of Mt. Carmel) passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Owensboro Health surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 21, 1944, in Wabash County, Illinois, the daughter of Wilber E. and Dorothy F. (Rigg) Doty.  She graduated from Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, Illinois.

Donna worked in the Human Resource Department for Old National Bank.  She enjoyed reading and loved to cook--making everything from scratch.

Left to cherish Donna’s memory is her son Tony Cariota and his wife Lori of Owensboro, Kentucky; three grandchildren; siblings Sherry Tripiedi and Lindell (Gloria) Doty; and her dog Izzy Paris.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Donna will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home, 527 N Mulberry Street, Mt. Carmel, Illinois with Graveside Services at 5:30 p.m. at Adams Corner Cemetery, 20030 E 1300 Road, Wabash County, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to Wabash County Shelter Buddies and Sepsis Alliance, envelopes for both will be available at the funeral home.
