Anna Lorene Miller

Anna Lorene Miller, 60, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away July 22, 2019.

She was born October 26, 1958, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the daughter of Walter James and Mary Maude (Hall) Miller. 

Anna enjoyed doing practical jokes, making people laugh, making Barbie clothes and dancing.  She was a dreamer…winning the lottery…  Anna loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren that called her “Grandma Annie,” and friends.  She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish Anna’s memory are her children, Charles Andrew “Andy” Miller of Cisne, Illinois, Misty Dawn Stopper of Lebanon, Missouri and James Allen Miller and his wife Melissa of Bridgeport, Illinois; ten grandchildren, John Miller, Katie Miller, Alex Miller, Andrew Stopper, Alivia Stopper, Amia Stopper, Kendric Miller, Zachary Miller, Preston Miller and Heaven Miller; two great-grandchildren, Dallas and Braxton; siblings, Cathy (Norman) Wellerman, Jeffery Allen (Shirley) Miller, Michael James (Season) Miller and Larry (Halonna) Miller; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive, Mt. Carmel, Illinois. 

Friends may call for visitation on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry Street, Mt. Carmel, Illinois, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m.
