Theodore Eldo Goodson

Theodore “Ted” Eldo Goodson passed away peacefully at his home Friday, November 18, 2016.

He was born Tuesday, August 4, 1925, the son of Elvis Eldo and Delsie I. (Mode) Goodson in Princeton, Indiana. He married Norma Chappell at Asbury Chapel Church in Mt. Carmel Sunday, January 12, 1958. She survives.

Ted was a member of Asbury Chapel Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany during WW II. He retired from Champion Labs; he enjoyed his work in the warehouse.

He was a proud member of the VFW and American Legion. Ted loved gardening and visiting with anyone that passed by.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Norma; and sister, Mary Lou Smith of Mt. Carmel; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.  The family gives a special thank you to the Celtic Hospice nurses for their care.

Preceding him in death are his parents; daughter, Linda Dianne Goodson; and two brothers, Daniel and Charles Goodson.

Per his wishes, Ted will be cremated.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
