Ruth Wever Obituary

 

Ruth D. Wever, 83, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Wabash General Hospital.

 

She was born October 12, 1934, the daughter of Estes P. and Hazel M. (Mode) Deisher in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.  Ruth was married to William “Bill” Wever.  He preceded her in death.

 

For twenty-two years Ruth and Bill owned and operated Bill & Ruth’s Upholstery Shop in Dallas, Texas.  Ruth was a member of the Mt. Carmel VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

 

Left to cherish Ruth’s memory is a son, Robert Kiskadden of Mt. Carmel; step-daughters, Donna Goings and Teresa Howe of Mt. Carmel; sister, Shirley McGarrah of Princeton, Indiana; several grandchildren, and,  great-grandchildren.

         

Preceding Ruth in death was her parents; husband; son, Charles Kiskadden; sister, Carolyn Deisher; and a brother, Paul Deisher.

 

Family and friends may visit Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 11:00 until 1:00 at Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry Street, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive.
