Jay Norman Hartman

Jay Hartman, 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at his residence in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on November 02, 1932 to Harry Elvis and Mary Ellen (Wirth) Hartman. Jay graduated from Mt. Carmel High School. He worked as a nurse and was a retired Colonel in the United States Army. He served during the Korean War.

He is survived by a sister, Betty Taylor of Plainfield, IN; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Albert Soha of Elizabethtown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary Hartman; and a sister, Alice Corrie. 

            Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Highland Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Jay is being buried next to his parents and sister.

            There will be no visitation.
