Frederick T. McClane

Frederick T. McClane, 61, of Patoka, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the residence of his aunt.

            He was born, April 6, 1954, the son of  Billy R. and Lois H. (Rose) McClane, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.  On June 8, 1974, Fred married Rebecca Graddy in Mt. Carmel. 

            Fred was a master plumber, owning and operating McClane Plumbing for over 20 years.  He was a retired member of Plumber Pipefitters Local 136 out of Evansville, Indiana, and a past member of the Lions Club, Elks and Eagles.  Fred was also a volunteer fireman.  He enjoyed fishing, net making, model trains and hunting.  Fred sponsored many bowling teams over the years.

            Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Billy and Lois of Carmi, Illinois; his wife of 41 years, Rebecca of Patoka, Indiana; children, Jacob and wife Misty McClane of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Jerod and wife Beth McClane of Huntingburg, Indiana; grandchildren, Justina and Christopher; and a brother, Michael and wife Linda McClane of Annapolis, Maryland and a sister, Peggy and husband Rick Kuykendall of Crossville, Illinois. 

            Preceding him in death were his grandparents.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 1827 College Drive, Mt. Carmel, Illinois.  There will be no public visitation.
